The PROMISĀ® Health Organization and Elsevier are pleased to announce a partnership for a new open access, peer-reviewed journal -- Advances in Patient-Reported Outcomes (APRO) -- the official journal of the PROMIS Health Organization.
The journal offers rapid publication of scientifically accurate, timely, and relevant clinical and methodological content that advances the science and application of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).

- To promote value in health care through assessment of outcomes that matter to patients.
- To support the voice of the patient in clinical decision making, quality improvement, and research.
- To publish papers on development, validation and implementation of high-quality PROMs with a strong, but not exclusive, emphasis on PROMIS.
- To publish methodological and educational papers on IRT and CAT that advance the science of PROMs.
The journal considers original educational papers, current concepts, study protocols, research manuscripts, (systematic) reviews, commentaries on articles, and letters to the editor.
