Mentoring sessions before or during the conference are an opportunity for new attendees, trainees, junior faculty, and others to meet and get advice from established PHO members in an informal setting.

Mentees will be matched prior to the conference with mentors based on common research and/or clinical interests. Career development issues, pathways to success in using PROMIS, advice and insight about professional development, or how to become more active in the PHO may be topics mentors and mentees wish to discuss.

Cancellation Policy and Fees

All conference registration cancellations by participants should be made via email to info@promishealth.org. A cancellation fee will be incurred based on the cancellation date and your registration payment as follows:

• Cancellations made by 31 August 2022: 10% of total registration costs.
• Cancellations made between 1 September and 19 September 2022: 50% of total registration costs.
• Cancellations made after 19 September 2022: No refund.

Requests for cancellation of ticketed pre-conference workshops received by 19 September will be granted a full refund. Cancellations for ticketed workshops received after 19 September will not be eligible for a refund.

PHO reserves the right to cancel any event due to lack of enrollment or other factors. If PHO cancels an event, registered persons will be notified by email and will have the option to receive a credit for a future PHO event or receive a full refund.

PHO will not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual persons.

Attendees agree to waive any and all claims for damages or compensation resulting from or relating to the cancellation, postponement, renaming, relocation or rescheduling of the event. PHO may (at its sole discretion) change the format (including, without limitation, from a physical in-person event to a virtual event), speakers, participants, content, venue location and program or any other aspect of the event at any time and for any reason, whether or not due to a Force Majeure Event (any event or circumstance arising that is beyond the reasonable control of PHO), in each case without liability.

Letters of Invitation

PHO will send letters of invitation upon request.  In order to receive a letter of invitation, the participant must be the presenting author on an accepted abstract at the PHO Conference. PHO cannot issue letters for family members or other individuals without an abstract.

It should be understood that a letter of invitation is only to help participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa, and is not a commitment on the part of PHO to provide financial support.

To find out if a visa is required to enter the Czech Republic, or how long an application will take to process, please check with your local embassy. It is advised that you request a letter of invitation from PHO at your earliest convenience.

To request a letter of invitation, email PHO at info@promishealth.org with the following information:  Full name, postal and email address of each individual requesting a letter of invitation, and the Embassy or consulate to which the letter should be addressed.

Letters of invitation will be emailed to the requesting individual, NOT to the embassy or consulate. Please allow up to five (5) business days for processing your request.

Certificates of Attendance

Certificates of attendance will be distributed electronically following the conference to those who request receipt on their registration form.

Travel Information

Effective 9 April 2022, the Czech Republic has suspended all COVID-19 related entry restrictions for travelers.  Travelers to the Czech Republic are no longer required to complete a Passenger Locator Form, provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or prior infection.

Travel time by taxi from Vaclav Havel Airport to the Clarion Congress Hotel is about 30-45 minutes (19.5 km). Transportation via taxi can be arranged by the Clarion Congress. Approximate cost from airport to hotel is CZK 1,250 (approximately $53 USD). Approximate cost from hotel to airport is CZK 1,150 (approximately $49 USD).
